Digging thru my bag was not enough....
This evening I am having a bowl of Orkik "Dark Strong Kentucky" in my extra large Savinelli 606.:pipe: As usual I went digging thru my stash to find something to smoke and I could not come up with what I craved and then I remembered this "Dark Strong Kentucky" that I had gotten in Pipes and Cigars end of the summer sale. so I went to my jarred tobacco cabinet and found it. This tobacco is just what "the doctor ordered" and it is delicious.:peaceful: I am topping this smoke off with a small glass of brandy and I am totally relaxed.:santa:
"Not so much" for free samples....
This evening I had decided to dig through my old bag of stash and came across this tiny free sample bag of "Harvest Moon" tobacco that is more than 10 years old; I decided to try it in my corncob.:pipe: I don't have any memory of where I got it, but it has definitely been sitting there for more than 10 years. This tobacco was still moist after all this time. After lighting it, I found that it was a very sweet aromatic, flavorful, ran hot and was not to my liking; after smoking half a bowl I dumped it out. I am now having a bowl of SG FVF in my Savinelli 606EX and am enjoying it.:santa: I am topping off this smoke with a small glass of brandy and the train is "back on the track".
