Sutliff had been unable to get Amphora Brown to make a match. I had tried to get them to do it. But I had a friend go on Christmas vacation and he picked up several pouches for himself and me. It was my intention to give one to their blender, Carl McAllister, so he could make a match. Unfortunately, the week I got the pouches was the week he announced his retirement, and as Sutliff is in no hurry to replace him, the idea is dead. If I knew what I was doing, I'd try it.

Jim,you should give the Brown a go. You're able to taste whether you have it right or not, and that is more than half the battle. If you aren't pleased with the results, no one has to know you did it.
