McClelland Dark Star. Mmmmmmm
I've been smoking this blend of cherry aromatic, burley, Maryland, and bright since yesterday afternoon. Also had another bowl of PS Proper English.
Erin Go Bragh Irish Whiskey in an old Willard pipe.....

Puffing a fill of Fribourg & Treyer Vintage from a just-opened tin with 2-3/4 years of age on it. I haven't seen anyone else mention this tobacco, so I'll say a few words about it. It's a Virginia flake with a tasty topping. Opening a tin is a delight. Beautiful light brown color, variegated with lighter and darker leaf, and a heavenly aroma. Very soft smoking, and it explodes with flavor. I've smoked this tobacco longer than any other in my current rotation, except for DF. A lovely room note too. The SmokingPipes blurb says that it has no flavoring, but that's flat wrong.
Thought I was going to be moving soon, so all my pipes and tobacco were packed in anticipation and I've been getting my nicotine fix from cigarettes. But, circumstances have changed and I'll be staying here at least another year. So this morning I unpacked a few boxes and for the first time in a while I'm enjoying a bowl of Dunhill Ye Olde Signe in a MM Stubby.
Had a nice smoke with my freshly mudded Grabow Omega and some Balkan Sasieni, smokes like a dream now.

Liking that tamper LL, is that a Snake special ?
Currently finishing a tin of Dunhill Flake in the proper pipe for the "job" a Dunhill canted dublin. Yup, it's Spring Time !!!
@Pipe Smoker - Doug, that F&T sounds delicious!

A bowl of fresh Margate in a Savinelli Trevi 320.
Pretty good. I like it better with some age on it. It has a nice woodiness, but it still a little aggressive on my mouth.
@LazyLightning Same pipe!
Nightcap in the gourd again.
They are great pipes IMHO, so I purchased another for latakia blends (though it's a Roma rusticated) and packed it with some Vintage Syrian for my last pipe of the evening

Today is gonna be a Captain Black day, starting with CB Gold in my Bruce Peters apple.
Last night I had 3 bowls of Middleton's Cherry in various pipes, mostly Dr. Grabows. This was some aged tobacco and it was pretty good, the cherry was very subtle. Later on, I mixed it with some of my burley flake to give it more punch.
This morning I smoked that last two bowls of my Langue de Chien Semois that came as a gift with a pipe that I bought on Ebay. This is one with Latakia in it. It wasn't bad but it burned up too fast and was gone quickly.
Not really what most folks think of when smoking in the morning, but I'm having some Peterson Irish Flake in a rusticated Savinelli Bing's Favorite.
Puffing my weekly fill of long-aged FVF -- so good. I chopped some up and spread it on a plate to dry while I smoked a fill of 2 yo DF. The FVF weighed 2.4g when I chopped it up -- 2.0g after drying. Yeah, FVF is a bit moist.

Had a bowl of Margate in the gourd. Tasted good but I wanted something with more pepper for some reason so I refilled said gourd with a charge of Picayune. Pepper in spades it had... nicotine too. I'm ready for bed.
Bout to finish up a bowl of McClelland Blackwoods Flake in my London made Ben Wade apple.
I think I may cap the evening off with an English blend. We'll see.
Last night I had a couple of bowls of @Bruck 's Peach Latakia Flake that I found in my cellar. Very tasty and full-bodied! Good job Bruck.
This morning I'm having a couple of coins of PS LBF in Guildhall billiard.

Puffing Solani 633, Virginia with Perique, from a just-opened tin with one year of age on it. This is a very fine mild, tasty tobacco, flavored only with a bit of Perique -- less than Escudo, but more than Golden Sliced.
And listening to Debussy's one-movement symphony -- his only symphony, AFAIK. Life is good!

Dr Grabow Savoy & OGS
This was the first briar that I bought, a few months back I took some 0000 steel wool and took off that thick varnish or lacquer coating they have on them and it really made the pipe look better IMHO. It made the grain stand out a lot more, especially after a quick tripoli then carnauba buffing.
