Half&Half in a MM Country Gentleman
Had some St. James Flake in a Savinelli Champagne bulldog when I first got home from work.
Now about 1/4 of the way into a bowl of McClelland PM Pipe in a Savinelli Bing's Favorite.
Nice mild to medium English. Tastes very good.
Puffing Fribourg & Treyer Vintage in my little Dunhill 2110 Liverpool flake pipe. This Virginia flake is mild, savory, spicy. And a delightful room note – your wife would like it. F&T is as English as Dunhill.
All this talk of strong tobaccos in small pipes made me go for G&H Brown Twist Sliced in the little Savinelli
Pease Embarcadero in a MM Legend, courtesy of @Cool Breeze . Pretty good, we'll see how it DGT's in the morning, packed too big of a bowl to finish!
Smoking another bowl of my homemade Burley flake in my tiny Sunrise Featherweight apple. I rubbed out the flakes more to break up the density of it and it is much more manageable and not so jolting in terms of nicotine in a small pipe.

Celebrating cob Tuesday with a MM Country Gentleman.
Smoking some McClelland 2015 VA flake w/perique that I acquired via a trade with @Aguineapig .
You fill up a bowl of @Bruck 's Nicotania Rustica and hoot that for a spell, and let's see if you can spell or at least hold continence..... Errrrrr.....or at least be able to hit the other bowl. I tried to smoke it straight and had to call in the Merry Maids to clean the head after attempting to empty my bladder while spinning in nondescript circles.....
Bruck sent me a sample of that. I seem to remember it being mostly earthy and vegetal. I don't remember it bothering me though; the little Sav has a bowl about 5/8" in diameter and less than an inch deep. I have to tamp with my pinky. With strong blends, this little bit is enough to last me the better part of an hour so the 'N' never hits me so much. I'm not saying I could smoke a group 6 Dunhill of the stuff. Hell, I don't even own a Dunhill so there you have 2 reasons I couldn't...
I might head home soon to read a book and smoke a bowl Solani 656 by the wood burning stove. Might have to crack a beer as well...
Revelation match in a MM cob
You know, when I bought it I was sorely disappointed. P&C or Smokingpipes - can't remember which - had a sale on the Savinelli Elegance series; regular price of $70 bucks marked down to 45 or 50 or something like that. I'd wanted a Sav for a while anyway so I looked at the 313 prince and saw 'no filter', just a slight bend and what looked like rather thick walls. I clicked 'buy'. I had no idea at the time that a prince is usually a pretty small pipe and I never bothered to look at the bowl size for some reason. It showed up and I thought 'damn! I just bought a lady's pipe!' Figured they should have called the shape a 'Princess' rather than a Prince.
F-fwd to now and it's my go-to pipe for all the strong blends. I smoke alone so it doesn't matter if I look like a homo with it. On the rare event I smoke in company I'll be sure to bring something manly like the big ol' MM General... although that one does have a somewhat pink Forever stem... :p :p
H&H Larry's Blend in a Savinelli Trevi 320.
A bowl of leftovers in this little homemade monstrosity

C&D Engine #99 in a Grabow Golden Duke rusticated pot with "adjustomatic" stem.
Puffing a fill of Dunhill DLNR from a just-opened tin. And yes it has "DE LUXE NAVY ROLLS" on the tin label, rather than just "NAVY ROLLS", as new tins have. I hope that the tobacco in the new tins hasn't been modified. Dunno why they changed the name -- maybe some regulatory busybody demanded it.
Embarcadero Part II, handled the overnight DGT very well. I think it improved with it actually. Good stuff.
It's a pretty big bowl in my tiny hands. The chamber's 7/8" wide and about 1" 3/4 deep. Real light weight so a good one for a long smoke. Was my second attempt at pipe making, thin walls so have to keep it slow or she heats up pretty bad.
Having a bowl of Dan Tobacco Sweet Vanilla Honeydew in a Dr. G Omega. I don't normally smoke aromatics but couldn't pass up @Tobias Lutz 's fire sale, which this was a part of. It's actually not too bad - nice Virginia flavor, not too sweet, not biting, not gooping, staying lit, we could be friends :)
It does seem that @Tobias Lutz could be easily befriended. A fine specimen of the human race for sure.....
Errrr......ahhhhh.....ummmmm.....well, while we're putting our cards on the table, he got a little goopy with me. Also, I'm not sayin' he bit, but he nibbled a bit hard on my arm for my needs at the time. I went and found a juice box, some crayons with a coloring book and a therapy rooster to get through it. I know he wasn't trying to be mean, but at times he seems rather aggressive..... ;)
I don't usually go for aromatics either but SVHD is definitely on my 'yes' list. I have a couple mason jars of it squirreled away. It's not I have something against the aromatic genre, it's just that I find I don't like about 90% of them. However, when one is good, it's really good. DE 7th Ave Blonde is another good one and that one even has black cav, which I usually despise.
Now having some Sir Walter Raleigh aromatic, also from the @Tobias Lutz haul :)
Lane Limited LL-7 in a MM cob
Puffing a fill of Dunhill De Luxe Navy Rolls in my venerable Kirsten Mariner. DLNR and Escudo are both curly cut, and both are made by STG in the same plant. Many folks think that they're identical, but I don't. I find the tin note to be different, and the taste, too. I'm not good at describing tobacco tastes, but DLNR seems more savory to me. Also, I think that Escudo has a greater percentage of Perique. I like both tobaccos, but I like DLNR a bit better.
So far today I've had two bowls of Captain Black original.
Trying to decide what I'm in the mood for this afternoon.
Leaning towards oriental blend or maybe Dunhill flake,
could turn into a good night for Golden Glow. I'll get back
with you on that.(will probably turn out all three)
Having a bowl of HH Old Dark Fired in a Savinelli Silver 111 KS. Great stuff!

Bowl of Bourbon Blue for the ride home....
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Smoking a bowl of "Hunt for Cherry" in a Ben Wade second. Don't know who made this tobacco; someone at the Pipe Club gave me a bag of it.

had a bowl of PS cinnamon last night from @Tobias Lutz
now some H&H Ice cream shop (I can't find anything about it)
