It's still raining here, 4th day in a row, so once again I'm smoking beside an open window with a fan blowing out. H&H Anni Kake in a rusticated Mark Tinsky bent bulldog. There's a rumor going around that we may see the sun again on Friday. I'll believe it when I see it.
I'm rebelling with a cigarette and Folgers coffee, just haven't been in the right mood to light a pipe.
We're expecting a record high tomorrow. But come Friday morning we're looking at an ice storm that
could go thru till Sunday. I've been hanging sheet rock again and I can honestly say digging foxholes
was more fun.
Had some MATCH Elizabethan in a cob.
Also had some Dunhill Three Year Matured Virginia in a Savinelli Champagne bulldog.
Savoring rich flavored Solani 656 in my Kirsten. I don't know how long Solani ages "Aged Burley Flake", but I've put an additional 7 months on it.
Last night was 3 nuns in my new poker and a bowl of Penzance in the new rhodesian

Some of @OnePyroTec "My Mixture" in an old House of Westminster "Kings Guard".....
after a great hobbit lunch of cold beef and mustard, potato dumplings and gravy, some sourdough oatmeal slabs with butter, couple of eggs and some cheese, fired up a bowl of McClelland 2015. I gave it 2 hours of dry time and still a little gurgle, such is a McC blend, a bit wet. But I do like it, quite tasty VaPer. Gonna brew up some coffee and go finish it after a DGT.
Edit: one of the longest burning baccy I ever smoked. I cannonball'd about 2/3rds of a flake into a country gent, and after revisiting it after setting down for about the forth time, decided it must be almost burnt up (hard to tell sometimes when you cannonball a flake where you are actually at in the bowl). I estimate about a third of what I loaded was still unburnt, and cursed myself for wasting baccy. cannonball pack worked well though, kept smoke cool and dry.
The last of the Dunhill The Aperitif in the Kaywoodie Relief Grain 14. Thanks to @Cool Breeze for the tobacco......

Small bowl of Bryan's shelf vaper. Always good and always different.
The wifey wanted me to smoke some of that good smellin' stuff, so I packed up some Erik Nording Hunter Blend Retriever in an old Yelo-Bole.....

Rattray's Black Mallory in a Grabow rusticated pot
Puffing a fill of DF with 2+ years of age on it. So good, it is. I like an occasional fill of well-aged FVF, but for everyday smoking, DF is my favorite straight Virginia.
Some Dunhill Elizabethan Mixture that I'm pretty damn sure that @Cool Breeze sent me in an old Sportsman pipe....

Hearth & Home Porch Swing in a Grabow pot
Puffing my weekly fill of long aged FVF. I cut 2.4g into small rectangles early this morning and spread them on a plate to dry while I smoked some DF. Just before filling my pipe with the FVF, I weighed it again, and read 2.1g. The stuff actually burns now. :)
Smoking my Guildhall billiard. Testing out a bowl of my latest blend, destined for the cake press. It's got:
22% Dark Fired Kentucky
11% Maryland
11% Oriental
11% Light Fire Cured Virginia
22% Green River Burley (unsweetened)
22% Latakia
I topped it with 1/4 cup of Myers's Rum, with 1.5 tsp sugar (to bind) and 1.5 tsp of vinegar.
Struggling to come up with a name for this blend. Please help with suggestions for a name for this blend.

Tried another bowl of Sam Gawith, Sam's Flake last night in my grubbiest, trustiest cob. This blend isn't cutting it for me; third bowl and I don't like it any more than I did the first. Tin aroma is fantastic; smell reminds me of a fresh apple fritter but the taste is just so-so. Not that it's bad, it's just not really noteworthy in any way. Lots of 4 star ratings for this on on TR... I don't understand it.
Finally !!! Cult Blood Red Moon in a no-name briar.
Ice storm didn't quite pan out like expected, that's a good thing.
Still cold and wet though.
@Haebar , How about calling it "Pickling".
With the rum and vinegar, I thought it would fit.
