Now smoking Stonehaven in a 1998 smooth medium bend Peterson Limerick 69 with a nickel band with a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Been a slow, but busy day.
Villiger Jamaican Export in a 2002 IMP smooth full bend egg shaped meer with a black acrylic stem.
A couple minutes away from smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem.
Just finished smoking St. James Flake in a smooth 2002 medium bend eight sided panel top straight grain Rinaldo Collection Silver Line F Egea 05 Titania bulldog with a black acrylic stem. Ice water abd bergs is my evening drink.
Now smoking year 1978 MacBaren Dark Twist Roll Cake in a 1988 smooth full bend Peterson System Standard XL 315 with a black vulcanite stem, nickel band and p-lip. Have enough for one more bowl.

A couple minutes away from smoking McClelland 2000 in a 1980 Stanwell 668 medium bend half black sandblasted, half brown smooth rough top with a multi-colored dark yellowish ferrule and black vulcanite stem.
I finished off a tin of Escudo the other day, so that allows me to open something new. Digging through the mountains of tins I'll find one that looks good, but then think "this one needs another year of aging first", or "I know this one is good but I have an open tin of a similar blend." So I continue to work on getting the open ones down to a manageable number. Tonight it's Dunhill Elizabethan Mixture in a tall MM General.
Love some Elizabethan Mixture. I am never without some. When the jar gets low, another tin gets ordered. One of the few tobaccos I do that with.Quote:

Went to bed early last night, around 8:00. Before I did I smoked the last of my Smoker's Haven In-B-Tween Mixture in this Ben Wade second. It was produced in the early 80's.

A bowl of lane 1-q for a monday afternoon conference call
Got my new cobs in the mail today. The Dagner Poker Cob is nice, though at $24 it's a bit pricey. I love the short saddle stem on it and wish they sold them separately for use on their other cobs. The only complaint I have is the excessive amount of black stain inside the bowl running almost to the bottom in one area. I suspect the first smoke isn't going to be very tasty while that burns off, so I'm loading it with Carter Hall. If I have to dump it out before I finish it I won't feel so bad.

Tried a second bowl of "Peach" in a no name briar. Can't decide on this one, room note is nice
kind of a peach cobbler going on, and the flavor has a sweet spicey tingle.I think about 10 or
