Pete, this stuff is great!
It is rich, deep, leathery, with a smokey backing and a nip of spice on the tongue. I wish I had a pound of this in my cellar! It is like nothing else I smoke.

First pipe of the day is Balkan Sasieni in a MM Legend. Though not one of MM's better pipes, this one has served me long and well, but I think this will be it's last smoke. The shank is cracked halfway from the stem to the bowl, a result of inserting a Forever stem a bit too forcefully, and the end in the bowl is almost completely burned away. I have many more of these but this was the one I reached for most. It will be sad to see it go.
Just finished smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem.

I mentioned earlier about my plan to smoke up all the small portions of tobaccos that I had stashed around in baggies. I thought that I had a pint jar and a half-pint full of these small amounts to smoke. Well today I was moving some tobacco from the kitchen to some shelves in my bedroom where I can see what I have better and I came across these that I forgot that I had. Five more quart jars and a pint jar full of baggies of tobacco! Yee-ha!

Well, it's a cob and I buy them in bags of 10, (rejects), and there are plenty more here to take it's place. If it was a briar I might have taken more heroic measures to save it, but the bowl was wobbly on what was left of the end of the shank, and with the crack too, it was just time to put it down.
