First pipe of the day is H&H Anni Kake in a straight, smooth, pre WW II Sydney P. Ram bulldog paired with a cup of moca java from San Marco coffee roasters. The sky is overcast and there's a chance of showers later in the day. Just a quick preview of winter before we return to sunny days of 80 degree weather by midweek.
Starting off my smoking day with Stonehaven in a 1998 smooth medium bend Peterson Limerick 69 with a nickel band with a black vulcanite p-lip stem. A bottle of Mist Twst is my drink.
SPC Mississippi River in a LL Bean smooth, straight pot that I bought on Ebay some years ago, (and definitely overpaid for), only because I'd never seen one and was curious. It was probably made by Mastercraft, so think Dr. Grabow and you'll have an idea of it's quality, or lack thereof. It smokes okay, but not the smartest investment I ever made.
Cannon Plug in a 2013 bent MM Missouri Pride Legend with a yellow stem.
Why do these tins always seem bottomless when you're trying to finish one off so you can open something new? Anyway, it's Escudo in a straight, smooth John Bessai bulldog with a vulcanite saddle stem.
Almost finished smoking G&H Sweet Rum Twist in a 2014 straight MM Missouri Pride Legend with a black stem.

She is still a little rough around the edges, but she is getting better with a little age.
I think I'd like to mix up some more, but with something other than C&D tobaccos. They always feel harsh to me.

It's been one of those days. Between the clogged drain in the kitchen, the unexpected, (and unwelcome), visit from a very drunk neighbor, and the blue screen of death on my laptop that required almost an hour of running utilities and tests to recover from, I was in a fairly crappy mood. When I finally got the chance to sit down and have a pipe I went through my open tins and couldn't find anything I wanted to smoke. So I decided one more open tin wouldn't mean the end of the world and I popped a 5 year old tin of Hal O' The Wynd, one of the greatest tobacco blends ever created. I loaded up a Mark Tinsky rusticated bent bulldog, put a match to it, and the clouds parted, the angels sang, and I'm in heaven.
Just finished smoking Old Dark Fired in a smooth briar calabash shape 1984 Fero Danese made in Italy with a black vulcanite stem.

Stonehaven in a 1984 black sandblasted straight Dunhill Shell 4103 Billiard with a black vulcanite stem.
I went out to drop off laundry and have lunch. Lamb moussaka and a side of sautéed mushrooms – both excellent. It was cafeteria style, so I could have as much of each as I wanted. I don't think that the Greeks put Tabasco sauce on moussaka, but I do.
Now puffing Escudo in my metal stem can-smoke-it-everyday Kirsten Mariner.
Just finished smoking C&D Burley Flake #3 in a 1980s Peterson 314 Full Bend black Sandblast system pipe with a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice tea and bergs is my drink.

It's boring reading the same post over and over, so when I smoke something other than Hal O' The Wynd I'll post again. On my third straight bowl today.
A third of the way through this bowl of Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a 1982 smooth straight Dunhill Root Briar 31051 Dublin with a black vulcanite stem. This will get me to dinner time. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.
The last of this sample of year 1986 Elephant & Castle New World in my old reliable 1986 smooth Peterson Kildare 999 Rhodesian with a black vulcanite stem and p-lip. Watching the O's-Jays game.
I don't find it boring. In fact, I find it interesting. I don't smoke the same blend twice, though I used to for much of my smoking life. I also see a time coming in the future when I will again, and if I'm still on pipe forums, I'll post the repeats. Others do it. This thread is a record of what we do, and it's nice to have a complete picture of people's smoking choices, so please post your repeats, and don't worry about it, man.
Just finished off the last of my corn flakes (C&D Bright VA chip cut) and am now converting some Esoterica Dorchester into ashes and tasty smoke. Pipe is a cheap no-name briar, a square Dublin with real thin walls, so it's getting pretty hot on the sides. But the Dorch is burning nice and cool so no complaints.
