My cellar will be a lot lighter when I get home, but some pipes with friends makes it all worth it! :pipe:
GLP Piccadilly this morning, a blend of Virginia, Latakia and Perique. It tasted good in the cool weather.
I will post my review later today. I do like it.
Just finished smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter. Next is Old Colonial in a medium bend beater 1979 Aalborg natural freehand made by Nording.
Sounds Wunnerful but what pipes will they be smoked in? We need a pipe by bowl description of the action.
As for me.....
2015 Daughters & Ryan Three Sails in a 1961 Barling's Make #7574 smooth canadian.
I just received a trial size ($1.73 for 1 oz) of this tobacco from Pipes & Cigars. Very dry. I may review it later.
2015 Peter Stokkebye #701 Virginia in a 1987 Ser Jacopo Renaissance #107 rusticated taper billiard.
Just received this today and it smokes very close to AJ's VaPer without any Perique.
2015 Gawith Hoggarth Glengarry Flake in a 1961 Barling's Make #5179 smooth sadddle billiard.
Snow's starting and it's bitter cold out here but this tobacco has started nicely.

We're close to 5" of snow on the ground and it's still coming down albeit not as fast as before. Supposed to snow into the night and we're running a lot colder than was forecast so I'm going to guess 7" when all is said and done tomorrow morning.

Saturday mornings are truly wonderful. Do I dare to say delightful? ;)
Well lets see.
Old Joe Krantz in my new CAO Meer. Smoked a bit sour, needs more cleaning. But mechanically, very solid smoker!
Mississippi Mud in a 1940s Custombilt. Don't like this blend in this pipe. Smoked OK, should of smoked it in my 90's Roma Savi...speaking of which...
Abingdon in my 90's Roma Savi. Smoked excellent, awesome complex taste.
Kendal Cream Flake in a Savi Alligator 1/2 bend. Another great smoke.
St. James in my late 90's Pete Irish Whiskey. I love this FVF with perique thing it has going on :p
Grasmere Flake in the Lakeland Legend. Good solid Lakeland flake. I would say topping wise it is between a Kendal Flake and Ennerdale Flake.
(I think) Wessex Burley Slices in a 1930s Custombilt. Wasn't too thrilled on this one. It was ok. Pipe smoked well at least.
I think that was about all that I partook in. About a bowl an hour, all while watching basketball and enjoying with friends. Went through plenty of bowls together. Good time.
The Meer Porn I promised will be in the March Meer thread soon.
Oh how I wish I had some pipe smoking friends...I smoke a gauntlet here and there and it'd be sweet if I had a buddy to share the fun with... great work on the pipes today, man! Sorry some didn't sit right, but that's the game.
Smoking a bowl of St. James Flake in a cob with a 2 finger pour of some whiskey. I don't think I'll ever buy FVF again when I know I can have it with perique. Great smoke.
I wish that we did it more often. Life is hectic and we all work crazy jobs. This is the first time that we all had gotten together in probably 4 months to have some bowls and enjoy.
But when we are able to do it, we usually go all out and have a blast doing it!
My night isn't over. I think I will have a couple more before the night is done :pipe:

Listing this a few minutes early: 1970s Union Leader in a smooth 2002 Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Milverton.
If I was limited to Carter Hall tobacco and MM cobs for the rest of my life, I wouldn't be too disappointed. If you haven't already guessed, it's CH in a MM CG tonight, made for each other.
McClelland Yenidje Supreme in my Hwiebe.
Best. Pipe. Ever.
Just finishing this bowl of G&H Dark Flake Unscented in a 2013 bent MM Missouri Pride Legend. Next is Arcadian Perique in my trusty 1970s smooth three quarter bend Peterson System Standard 305.

2015 Gawith Hoggarth CR Flake in a 1983 Ser Jacopo Gemma Granato smooth stout billiard taper with a gold band.
We ended up with 5 inches of snow and I'm glad to have been wrong. Cold out here tonight but pipe's smoking well so all is good.
Just finished smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in the second pipe I ever bought, a 1974 three quarter bend black groove carved Dr. Grabow Omega. Next is Chatham Manor in a black 1997 Brebbia Jubilee 925 silver banded grain sandblast briar calabash.
