I thought you didn't like burley and perique together...
Red Raparree in a cob. I must say I like this blend much more in a briar. This cob seems to mute the citrus quite a bit. Still good tho. They say this blend is supposed to be unflavored but I'd swear I'm picking up vanilla unless this cob is just ghosted from smoking the last aromatic.

Something in this jar has clicked for me. I have a different jar of OJK that smokes kind of sour and blah, but this jar smokes smooth and wonderful.
I don't know the exact ages of either jar unfortunately, but I'm guessing things mellow out nicely with this blend. So in general, no I don't care for perique and burley, but this jar it works.

Having some of my latest batch of homemade flake - cigar scraps, cavendish made from cigar scraps, virginias including some fire-cured dark air, various ornamentals, and a healthy dose of "Tobias' Surprise," a sweet, tangy blend that our friend @Tobias Lutz concocted a while back. The Tobias' Surprise is the main flavor, but it's kind of a tobacco salad at this point. It will benefit from some shelf time.
