Your post reminds me of this paragraph from "The Hobbit" (J. R. R. Tolkien):
"Bilbo Baggins was standing at his door after breakfast smoking an enormous long wooden pipe that reached nearly down to his woolly toes (neatly brushed)—Gandalf came by."
Did Gandalph come by?

Had a nice little pipe herf this evening - one of my hunting buddies is getting into pipe smoking so I invited him over to shoplift in my tobacco cabinet. He walked away with 10 or 12 samples, including some rather large samples of stuff I didn't much care for, and some Tambolaka and Nicotania Rustica that I made him take for cultural edification.
Then we had a pipe on the deck - he had some Dunhill 965 while I had some of my homemade navy flake.
Unpacked the ol' cellar today...wish I could say the same regarding the other 8 bazillion boxes that are thrown about my new house right now!
Decided to have some Haddo's Delight in a big ol' ugly Custombilt to steal an hour to relax.
