Hearth & Home Strikeforce in a Redonian army-mount billiard
The Aperitiff in a full bend Wally Frank. 1960ish.
Honestly forgot I had this pipe. I cleaned it up and put it in a drawer somewhere about a year ago. I bought it on a whim, seeing as I rarely smoke bends. Haven't decided if I'm keeping it or not yet....guess we'll see how it smokes.

Having a bowl of Captain Black Royal in a MM Country Gentleman.
Trying out a bowl of Gawith Hoggarth Cherry Cream Flake in a Barling 5574 TVF that I got from @NeverBend a while back.
Mini Review: Not a bad backy; sort of a mildly topped Virginia flake. First thing I notice is (ugh) Lakeland but it's not very strong and it's getting less and less noticeable further down the bowl. Cherry is most apparent in the nose along with a tiny bit of pepper. Dunno yet what the 'cream' is all about but this is only the first bowl of this weed. I'll have to try this rubbed out next time. Reminds me a little of Glengarry flake with the fruity sweetness. So far I still like Sam Gawith's Chocolate Flake better than this but it may grow on me.

This evening I am having Penzance in my extra large Rossi freehand.:pipe: I smoked HH Ten to Midnight several times this week; I had read that it was very similar to Penzance and I was very much disappointed.:blue: I did not expect Ten to Midnight to "rock my boat", but I did think that it would tweak my interest-it did not! The Penzance that I am smoking now is vintage 2010 and that may be a factor, but my Penzance is absolutely delicious. I am topping off this smoke with a large mug of "Guinness Draught" brew and I am enjoying this evening.:beerchug:
