Jack - is that flavored in any way, or is it just straight tobacco?

Having a nice morning smoke of Trash Can Punch flake in a cob I was running out of jars a few months ago, so I combined everything that I had less than an inch of, plus an assortment of other leaves, into a pressed flake. A real tobacco salad, but pretty good.

No flavoring, just baccy. It's not a straight up Burley though, there is some Virginia and Cavendish too. This was only my first bowl purchased based on my liking of OTC burley and Branzig talking up the sample he received from Emperor Zurg. The flavor is good but it had a slight bite I wasn't expecting.

I was going to smoke in my garage, but my kids have been sick, one of them with pneumonia, and I am worried I might catch something...so I thought I better not sit in a closed off area full of smoke right now
Today looks promising for a good smoke. Supposed to be in the mid 70s and sunny. I left that bowl of Louisiana Flake in the bowl over night...so time to see how it tastes when a bit crispy!

FYI, I get bite from it if I don't let it dry a while. You can't tell how moist it is because of the ube cut but I've found that if I let it sit out for a few hours to half a day it burns better, tastes better and doesn't bite near as quick.
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

So funny how different people interpurt the same tobacco in so many different ways.
I get no bite at all from it and did detect a slight topping on it. Go figure
I know all the product information states there is no topping on it...but it seems a lot like Carter Hall to me. A slight sugar and cocoa adding. I guess it could just be the Cavendish, but I am still skeptical.
It is a great blend though. Especially in a cob with some coffee
