Tried some Sutliff Coffee today. Eh. Firedance Flake yesterday, celebrating my return from Hawaii (like all the best vacations, great to be there and nice to be back).
@NeverBend , good to see you back, too!
Earlier today...
2015 Royal Yacht in a 1950s Barling's Make Ye Olde Wood EXEXEL taper billiard with coffee.
2015 The Stout (v6) in a 1984 Ser Jacopo Renaissance #406 tanblast taper billiard with iced water.
Was a magnificent day today.
Just got home from pipe club group and smoked 3 bowls:
Samuel Gawith Navy flake (@Cool Breeze) in a Captain Black straight billiard
Gawith & Hoggarth Kendal Kentucky (@Shemp Jizzle) in a straight Sunrise billiard
G.L.Pease Navigator in the Captain Black billiard
Thanks to both of you guys for sending me these. You are great brothers of the leaf!

Had a few today.
Had some MacBaren Virginia No. 1, some Rattray's Marlin Flake, Drew Estate Meat Pie and Carter Hall. Mostly in cobs.
Milan Tobacconist Peaches & Cream in a cob....
Smoking the last fill from my third tin of Solani 656 Aged Burley Flake. I really like this stuff. If my Virginias are good steak, then the ABF is good pot roast – and I love pot roast!
GL Pease Navigator in a straight Sunrise natural billiard.
I guess you could call it the Knoxville Pipe Club. It's a stretch to call ours a club, about 8 regulars. We meet once a month at Smoky's Tobacco and Cigars in Knoxville, TN. It's very informal; we don't have officers or keep a treasury or anything.
Ennerdale in a Grabow pot
This is exactly what I would like to set up. Something nice a casual, not to serious. Just some guys who like to talk, smoke, and have some adult beverages.
Unfortunately, there aren't many pipe smokers around my parts. Or at least not many that I've met. Maybe one day...
Having an evening half bowl of Storm Front in a MM General. Thunder storms rolled through and cooled things off, figured it was a good choice for tonight.

Had some Escudo in an unfinished Savinelli Series III.
Also some Orlik DSK in a Rossi Prince.

Smoking some Strang, courtesy of @Shemp Jizzle , in a Sunrise Amber Grain.

A brief description of Strang from TobaccoReviews says it also has burley and perique: "... is a specialty, such as are found only rarely: fine Virginia, filled with dark burley were spun with a spicy, but mild Perique.
I've never tried Dunhill Flake, so I can't compare them.
Jim Inks wrote a review of it: Motzek - (Curly) Strang Cut - Tobacco Reviews.
Yesterday had some Milan Tobacco "Our Captain Black" then Star City Delight.
Just lit up a bowl of GH Kendal Kentucky in a Guildhall straight billiard.

Just about to try some Burma Road in one of my dad's old Comoys pots (dedicated to sweet Latakia blends).
Happy Father's Day (youz Bums!)

Moonshine Pipe Co. XXX blend in a Fireside medium billiard churchwarden.
Nearly through this bowl of Old Colonial in a medium bend beater 1979 Aalborg natural freehand made by Nording with a black vulcanite stem. Up early to chat with company. And to smoke. And to feed Suzy and Molly. And to eat. And to post. That 'bout covers it!!!
Not too far from finishing this bowl of Stonehaven in a 1998 smooth medium bend Peterson Limerick 69 with a nickel band with a black vulcanite p-lip stem. A bottle of Mountain Dew made with pure cane sugar is my drink.
Today at 2:30 EST makes 42 years that I have been a pipe smoker!
As of now, in celebration of 42 years as a pipe smoker, I am smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in the very first pipe I ever smoked (which was my father’s pipe), a late 1950s smooth with etched grooves straight Willard long stem adjustomatic Canadian with a black vulcanite stem.
Uhle’s 255 in a 2002 quarter bend sandblasted Stanwell Golden Danish 139 with a black vulcanite stem.
2012 Anniversary Kake in a smooth 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49 with a black vulcanite stem. An appropriate smoke for the 42nd anniversary of pipe smoking.
15 year old Penzance in a 1990s smooth Peterson Captain Pete XL80 bulldog with a black vulcanite stem and p-lip.
Now smoking nothin'. It's too damned hot. I closed the windows and turned on the AC for the first time this year.
