I can tell a little difference because the plug does age a little differently, but it's not a major change by any means, and certainly not enough to justify paying $100 pound, plus overseas shipping.
Just finished smoking Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a smooth three quarter bend 1979 made in Israel pipe.
