Pete, I got it on Ebay for $9. I checked my copy of "Who Made That Pipe" and it says it was made by either Sasieni or H. Comoy. I will send pictures tonight, busy with company now.

Tab,
Everything looks Sasieni, circa late 1940s to mid 1950s. The large '7' was added to '15' stamp and this fancy font I've seen on other Sasieni pipes of the era. I go by manufacturing clues and the shape is Sasieni, based on the first pic you showed, as well. If you have the time, can you take a couple of pics of the bowl. I'm not a Sasieni collector but I know their manufacturing pretty well.
Just opened an 8-oz vacuum bag of Gawith Hoggarth Louisiana Flake from March, 2015. Smells lovely.
Loading up a 1984 Ser Jacopo L1 Panel, smooth saddle that's the first panel they ever made, based on my design drawing. It was never stained, seemed to have no grain at the time but has darkened to show a rich full grain (sorry no pics - I remain pic challenged). Elite smoker. The guys at Jacopo thought it to be a toss-away and used a bit that had not properly fit a Castello repair. The remnant outline of the Castello bar can still be seen on the side of the bit. This is among the last of the original, regular line, Jacopo logo pipes (1982-1984), small coral dot surrounded by silver that was later changed to the simple coral red dot (1985-1997) before the silver inlaid "J" (1997-present). I took this pipe immediately after it was made, less than 90 minutes from concept to smoking.
