Opened this the other day when @MrMotoyoshi stopped by and we each smoked a bowl. The age has really helped. I'm almost pleased but he would be the better source to comment on this mixture.
Good to see your post @JimInks .
I've been smoking nothing but four year old Homborger Veermaster for several weeks now.
Last night I changed it up with a small bowl of Dunhill EMP in a latakia-dedicated cob. Meh. It hasn't been long enough for me to want latakia. I followed that bowl with some HV in a BIG sandblast Savanelli bulldog. That hit the spot.

Someone nearly hit a very large dog in front of my house, poor pooch ran to the side of my garage. The driver stopped, was concerned, and said that the dog was a huge rottweiler. No rotty's live nearby so I called animal control but no answer. Pooch started sniveling so I called the cops. The concerned driver was brave, standing in my driveway trying to coax him out. I got a flashlight and (with some trepidation) went by the garage and shone the light on the dog.
It wasn't a huge rottweiler, it was my neighbor's 9-month old Neapolitan Mastiff, Shadow, who's already 130-lbs.
Called the police to tell them that all was well.

Hi Tab,
Can you tell me anything about this pipe and how you acquired it? From the pic it looks very much 1960s (or before) English (London) made. Could you supply more pics. If the stem is original, could you post one looking into the smoke hole of the bit? Thanks.
Pete
