Perfect burn and dry right to the bottom. You're right tho, it will take a few to 'get' this one. HOT Pepper powder pizza for lunch ain't helping either.
Good tho. I can see me warming up to his one. Need to try it without temporarily nuked taste buds
Nuked taste buds def won't help you appreciate that tobacco

It took me a few more tries in multiple pipes, but now I can get it to where I want it just about every time I smoke it.

    Enjoy brother

Model Match in the first pipe Trever Talbot made when he went to France many years ago. It's a smooth straight Algerian briar Billiard bowl with a long Canadian stem, unbranded.

Dinner is over. Chicken soup was too salty. Cornbread was a disaster. But, Carter Hall in a freshly cleaned cob and a gin and tonic, I'm a happy guy.

Update: Carter Hall does not pair well with a gin and tonic. Trust me on this one.

Jim, I'm getting concerned. Seems you're down to one or two bowls of a lot of your stock. Are you about out of tobacco?

No, I'm fine. I just have a lot of small to medium size trade samples I am smoking up as well as samples I picked up from vendors at pipe shows. I'm trying to reduce the number of open baggies I have, nothing more. I thank you for caring enough to ask.

Absolutely. A can or two isn't going to make a difference to me if someone's running low. I'm doing the same thing, working my way through sixteen Pugsley samples, a Tobias purchase and a bunch of samples and tins from a buddy on r/pipetobacco. I've got to eradicate some baggies before I pop another tin.
