Yesterday, I opened a tin of Dunhill De Luxe Navy Rolls with 3 years, 8 months of age on it. This stuff is one superb VaPer – such a delectable Perique tang, yet smooth. I have two more tins of similar age, and bitterly regret that I didn't cellar more of it.
It goes particularly well in my Kirsten Mariner. In fact, since opening the DLNR tin I've been smoking the Kirsten exclusively, and I'll continue doing so until the DLNR is gone. I wouldn't do that with a conventional briar, but it's no problem with the metal-stem Kirsten.

Another thank you to @Haebar

It tastes...............wait for it...............................just like a good sweet VA tobacco. Imagine that. :pipe:

Heine's Blend in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega.
I find its pretty decent, nothing high end but great for what you pay. The flavor is good but a bit chemical tasting. Creamy smoke and burns well. For the price it's decent and if you get a pack with a mm and not a Chinese pipe then it makes it worth a try. I paid around the cost of the pipe alone for a pack of each so the tobacco was pretty much free.
