Well, its beginning to look like I will survive this winter. I have only smoked three or four pipefuls in the last couple of months. Surviving on snuff and nicotine gum. Now that my health is improving, I went out and smoked a bowl of London Mixture this evening. Old age ain't for sissies. I still love my pipes even though I have neglected them for a while.

I heard from Pete the other day. He's fine and Debby is over the hardest part of her therapy but is still undergoing treatment. He has some familial issues and is really trying to hold it together for everyone. He apologized for his absence and sent his regards to all. He wasn't able to say when he'll have time to get back with us, could be sometime in spring. It sounds like he had to drop everything, including blending, right where it lay and tend to business. Just like any of us would do for our families. I let him know he was missed and wished him strength and hope.Quote:
