This is one of the "raw" briars I bought, then sanded down and refinished. No coloring, and coated with several coats of thinned clear shellac (yes, I know shellac is cheating :)).

You were axing about the Seattle Pipe Club Pike Place. Now that my sinuses are back in working order, I can report that it is a most excellent blend. Sort of like Dunhill Nightcap but cooler, with a bit more of a hardwood note. Those SPC guys really know what they're doing. Smoking it in a meer right now.Quote:
