I had a mixture of several things I dumped together just for a change.
I had some wet goopy cherry cavendish tobacco from the local drugstore. I mixed that with a straight Virginia blend. Then I dumped about a half a pouch of Paladin Black Cherry in it which is a burley blend. So it's a VA/Burley/cavendish cherry blend. It's actually pretty good. I found the cherry flavoring to be overpowering with the drug store cavendish blend, but mixed with the unflavored VA and the burley it is much better.

Putting down the pipe today so that I can light up a cigar and mourn Congress' craptastic avoidance of single-handedly saving the cigar industry. They just needed to approve ONE RIDER last night and the entire FDA fight would be finished, but nooooooooooope.
If this is the industry's last gasp, I'm going out in style: '09 Opus Double Corona
Boswell Cupcake in a straight, smooth Dr. Grabow Royalton :pipe:
2015 Mixture #606 (blended 11-15-15) in a 1970s Caminetto Business #104 saddle billiard.
Bill (@EmperorZurg) described tobacco blending (sometimes) to be like hitting a moving target and this mixture was that from the start.
I once saw Ray Floyd (golfer) hit a ball that started straight and then made an abrupt right turn. It went over a line of trees and, with a few bounces, landed on the green. I know that Mr. Floyd was a venerated professional, but that drive convinced me to never touch a gold club again, (not that i really had before), and I thought about how he hit that ball when I blended this mixture and I knew that I'd have to wait to see where it ended up.
I've been smoking #606 steadily since it was blended. It started straight, as the ingredients would suggest, changing subtly over the next three weeks. Today, after 10 additional 10 days, the jar note was nearly spot on (goal).
Smoking it now, (almost finished and about to fire up another bowl), it's gone over the trees and is headed for the green. I have to hope that it doesn't roll past the cup.
