Burned the first sample of my new Kendal Plug over the weekend. I so love plug tobacco - I don't even know why. I'd be all over some St James plug. Maybe I'll have to launch a search for it. Anyway, the KP was OK but seems a little sharp like it's kinda young. Does show lots of promise. Out of the chute, the Solani 633 was a nicer smoke.
Having some St. James Flake in a stubby little Rogers Rarity.
Man this stuff is good. Haven't had it in a while.
Burned a bowlsworth of Samuel Gawith, Navy Flake in my custom -butchered Dagner poker.
Burned it off and on all day long. Just dumped it out a few minutes ago; little dottle, mostly ash.
How many of you cigar smokers can burn one smoke all day long and have it still be enjoyable???

Just lit a bowl of McClelland 2015 VA/Perique Flake in a Savinelli Sherwood Rock Briar Canadian.
I allow myself a bowl of McClelland about twice a month to make it last. Man, I'm gonna miss it when it's gone.

Now usually I detest burley but tonight this tastes like anything but. What a spice bomb! And with a mild top note of some kind - possibly the lightest hint of vanilla. It's almost like I'm smoking a bowl of straight perique.
Tried the Cringle Cake last night.
It started off slow and didn't seem to have much flavor, but the flavor seemed to build through the bowl and I ended up enjoying it quite a bit.
