Thoroughly enjoying some G&H, Brown Twist Sliced in a gourd calabash while drinking gin and soda around a campfire. I don't often have a desire for this blend because it is quite strong and can be harsh if not dried and sipped just so... but when I do it is SO very nice to burn a bowl of this stuff.
Puffing Prince Albert in my Viking Classic Pot. I can remember when Prince Albert could be purchased at virtually every drugstore in America. And many other stores too. Came in a flat-ish tin that would slip into a jacket pocket.
Another bowl of Brown Twist Sliced in the gourd: my Emotional Support Pipe.
BTS was just too good for just one visit.
Hey, maybe I can use the Emotional Support angle to force other people to breathe my second hand smoke! And after registering as a non-smoker to boot ;)
Having some Full Virginia Flake in my Peterson Rocky Donegal.
Puffing Price Albert in my old Kirsten. Quite enjoyable — very mild, and a nice change of pace. Here’s what SmokingPipes says of it:
“An ultra-classic blend of Burley and Cavendish, with just a hint of cocoa and molasses, Prince Albert is the sort of blend your father or grandfather might have smoked.”
If there’s Cavendish, it’s certainly not the dark variety typically found in aromatic blends.
G&H something or other flake in a Peterson spigot billiard.
Need to get a few samples to find out what this stuff really is...
G&H Brown Twist Sliced in the gourd.
This will be it until the weekend.
Still working in this new Stanwell, one small bowl at a time. Some Lane 1q this time.
