Puffing Gordon Pym (Dan Tobacco) in my old Kirsten. An English mixture, but quite different than others that I’ve tried. It’s a bit fluffy — I can’t get as much, by weight, into my pipe as I can with most other tobaccos. Very tasty though.

How d'ye like it? IMO, 400 improves greatly with age.

Started out a bit harsh but the further through the bowl it got better and better. Can definitely see it getting really tasty with some more age on it.

More junkyard dog in the same savi.

This blend isnt something I should be into, but I am. It is boring, straight forward, not interesting. But I am enjoying it for whatever reason.

Puffing Solani 660, Silver Flake, in my Tinsky brandy. I like zippy tobaccos earlier in the day and milder tobaccos as the day goes on. 660 is delicious and a bit spicy, so it’s become my “Early Morning Pipe”.

Well after trying all my collection of pipes from my grandpa I finally broke down and bought a shiny new pipe. First it was an epic orgy at CI in PA and @Horseshoe was a horrible influence on me, basically forced me to buy this pipe. Pics don't do it justice but it's a Stanwell Black Diamond 185. Had a few bowls already, now trying some WO Larsen special edition from 2013 that I picked up for cheap too.

I also forgot to take a pic but wanted to thank @bluenoser as the wooden tobacco holder and tamper made the trip and worked out well.

Ahh yes... and so it begins!
But even with the occasional pipe purchase you will still spend far less on pipes and tobacco than you would on cigars... unless you go nuts, of course. What did that pipe run you? Less than $100? Provided you don't lose or break it, it'll last the rest of your life. Now what's a box of decent cigars cost? And how long will those last?

Just to clarify, what I'm saying is not: 'see how much money you're saving?' What I'm saying is: 'feel free to buy more pipes!'
