I had mentioned wanting to try P&C Best of the Rest, when I first got back to pipes. My youngest, Luke, surprised me with a bag. Smoking it in a bent Irish Second.

The first Irish Second, my first pipe, is lighter in color and straight. This is my second Irish Second.
Ok, enough of that.
Enjoying A bowl of Carter Hall In an Orange Dr Grabow Viscount, screw in tenon with a stinger. Can't bring myself to cut it off.
Mac Baren HH Mature Virginia in bent Mariner. I can see why this stuff was discontinued. It was supposedly made with 22 different tobaccos, but all I got was some sour Orientals, bitey Burley and generic VA. It was hard to keep lit, but nevertheless burned really fast. Hoping the HH Syrian is better, since I bought a tin recently.
Just fired up my Middeltonian with (2015) Einstien.....I could get used to this..:heartpump:

Just finished Jim's Test VaPer in a 2003 medium bent straight grain Two dot 2 P. Ardor Venere Extra Bucaneve with a silver ferrule signed by Dorelio Rovera.
Had a quick bowl of about a half flake of Orlik Golden Sliced earlier. Too busy watching my beloved Bills suck, then kick butt, then suck again. With how they're playing, a 5 point lead with 6 minutes left will not be enough for a win.
Great timing. They just handed the Jests the ball on the 12. Wow.
2012 Rolando’s Own in a 2002 black short shank grain relief straight Caminetto 6.L.17 tomato.
Listing this fairly early so I can concentrate on work for a while: St. James Flake in a straight sandblasted pre-transition Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver band and military bit.

Flying Dutchman Match in a 1970's medium bend big bowl rusticated Sienna colored Savinelli Estella with a pearl grey stem. Starting to run low on this blend now.

We totally agree on this. I'm not much for dry tobacco. It loses too much flavor and burns hotter. I know there are a few who disagree, but I defer to my taste buds on this subject.
Up too durn early, so I'm smoking Jim's Va/Bur #1 in a 2015 Basil Meadows smooth straight thin shank and stem with an aluminum band Bing Crosby Merchant Service replica.

(2015) Autumn Breakfast in an Old-Vic 3/4 bent
After working 15 straight days, then getting a day off, then working 6 days, then getting a day off, then working 4 straight days, I have a three day weekend! Just finished some work around the house so I'll load up the Tim West with some Coniston and head to the workshop to finish the final cutwork, and then pre-staining, on my new pipe cabinet.

I'm in the middle of making chicken tikka masala, her favorite, for dinner (such a nice guy I am!), I used my time alone to order a few Christmas gifts that she has her heart set on, and I'm hoping UPS shows up soon because I'm excited to unwrap a gift I bought for myself that's supposedly out for delivery: that durned KS Author (Bianca rusticated) size @JimInks and @Alligator Gar keep going on and on and on about.
