I've had a small bowl of G&H Dark Plug going off and on all afternoon while I do some organizing around the garage / barn. It's about half gone. Time to sit down and enjoy the rest of it, proper like.
Sipping on some well-aged SG St. James Flake in a tawney Comoys.
Sorry I've not been around. Missed you guys.
Still hustling while trying to find another job.
Another bowl of St. James Flake in an old KBB meerschaum.
green wood working, carving spoons from green wood. look up the works of people like Fritioff Runhall, Jojo Wood, Peter Follansbee. It's great fun.
Also, finishing off that bowl of blackhouse 3 days after I started it was surprisingly delish. I guess I run contrary to the norm as regards DGT of latakia blends. I've usually found them to be fine.
Good luck with your job hunt!

And thinking about lunch, which will feature fried Spam sandwiches. Not haute cuisine, but I find them pretty tasty, with raw onion, Thumann’s Düsseldorf mustard, and lots of black pepper.
Still working on that St James Flake.
It is disappearing shockingly fast! 😢
Puffing Solani 779 in my old Kirsten Mariner. I’m not a big fan of English mixtures, but the 779 is tasting delicious today.
Having a bowl of White Knight in an old McGregor......Been a spell since I fired up a bowl....
