Sampling some Strang (courtesy of Alan) in this old Kleenest Deluxe and first go using the new pipe lighter SWMBO bought me for Christmas. Absolutely amazing stuff.

It's a basic night for me.
I have no idea what I'm smoking and it's in a no name briar I got from a flea market.
The tobacco is from a friend at my local shop. When he's not really into a tobacco, it goes into a catch all container. There's no telling what all ended up in it.
He decided to learn how to press tobacco into cakes, so he experimented with the catch all jars.
I know it has Virginia, Perique and dark fired. I think I may get a hint of Oriental every now and then. No Latakia.

Good to know! I've got a quart mason of that stuff that's been squirreled away for IDK how long now. Going to have to check the date on the jar. I've always liked the stuff, even fresh but somehow it fell out of my rotation... probably because there's no good way that I've found to fold and stuff the round disks. Can always rub it out tho. Finally got a chance to burn most of the bowl of G&H something or other.
Took a walk in the woods and made the most of it. The girls' feet got cold so had to cut the walk short.Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
