What a coincidence! I had my first bowl of Picayune yesterday and loved it. But halfway through my second bowl I started feeling a little weird and nauseous - the stuff is strong! Still I love the flavor and burning characteristics. Smoked it in an E.A. Carey straight billiard with the "Magic Inch" at work.Quote:

“A Dan Tobacco tribute to the brave men and women, who fought for freedom, Patriot Flake features U.S. Virginia grades and Virginia tobaccos from Mysore with additional fermentation under pressure. It is press aged, sliced thin and kept in flake form. Easily rubbed out. This blend has an excellent cool burn with a satisfyingly rich, but smooth flavor. Medium Strength.”

BTW — my tins don’t have the ugly German tobacco warning on the bottom half of the tin label.

a bowl of lane virginia slices for breakfast, and then a half bowl of newminster 400 for afternoon. comparing these two, the lane tastes more like OGS ad the newminster clearly a macbaren product. both are good. liked the lane better initially, but the newminster has grown on me a bit.
