Smoked the remainder of a bowl of H&H Anniversary Flake (that I began earlier today) in a Rattray's Cherrywood. Then still had half my gose left so I smoked a small musketball of War Horse in a Frennch made Canadian

I’m not an aromatic guy, but some time ago I ordered five Solani aromatics that I’d never tried. The first of those, Solani 113, Sweet Mystery, I didn’t like. A week ago I opened the next one: Solani 127, Green Label. SmokingPipes says:
“A mixture of broad and very ripe Virginias and double fermented black Cavendish, Solani Green Label has a wonderful sweetness with a touch of apple flavor. Wild Cut.”
I’ve smoked it in several different pipes, and enjoyed it. The tobacco is quite good, and the flavoring is tasty and not overbearing.
I’m thinking that I might order more of the 127. But not until I’ve tried the three remaining aromatics.

That actually sounds pretty good. I usually avoid black Cavendish since IMO it tastes like lightly sweet, warm air but sometimes I find it in a condiment percentage in a particular blend and then it doesn't dilute the flavor too much.
Managed to burn a bowl of G&H Rum Flake tonight by the campfire and a couple small bowls of Esoterica Margate later in the night.

Morning smoke: Sutliff Voodoo Queen in an M&T Dundee that I've partially restored.
It smokes great, but I think I want to lighten it up a little more. Started out jet black, with a lot of little fills that were showing as white dots.

A little Sutliff Sunrise Smoke while the dog played around in the yard.
This is sweeter than I remembered. Bordering somewhere between aromatic and very light English.

I like your dog too. Here’s a wonderful dog story:

I didn’t know you, Pickles, but rest in peace, Braveheart.
