Tried a bowl of SG Kendal Creme Flake last night in a MM freehand cob that I'd just put a new, hardwood heel in.
This blend isn't exactly my cup of tea but it's not bad. I bought a box to cellar for the times I'd like a change of pace.
It's not too strongly scented so maybe I'll try a bowl in a briar soon.

Feeling bored, I tried a blend: 50-50 Solani ABF, and F&T Blackjack. The latter is a bright, untopped Virginia. I cut both finely and mixed well.
It was a successful experiment — the ABF benefits from some brightening, and the Blackjack is better toned down.

Having a cobful of Blue Train an aromatic from
@Tobias Lutz
's inventory reduction a while back. Flavor's good, pretty light in the nicotine department; a little bitey though. Fortunately I have some Labatt's Blue to cool the tongue

Puffing Wessex Classic Virginia in my ancient Kirsten Mariner. I discovered this tobacco only a year ago, but I like it as much as Cool Breeze likes McClelland's Red and Black. Which is to say, a lot!

Had a bowl of Rattray's Old Gowrie in a squat (not sure of the shape) Rogers Rarity pipe that I picked up at an estate sale a month or so back.
First bowl in it. Good smoking pipe.
