LBF in a baraccini Rhodesian
Tried a couple of new to me blends today.
Had a bowl of C&D Haunted Bookshop. It was awful. I don't know what anyone sees in the stuff. Tasteless and harsh, just like Old Joe Krantz was.
Then had a bowl of Peterson University Flake for the first time. It was pretty good, but I don't think it will be a staple in my rotation any time soon.
Oh well. You love some and you hate some.
Having a bowl of G&H Dark Bird's Eye in a Hendon billiard during my lunch hour.
Finally cracked a tin of Hamborger Veermaster
Using an inexpensive (read "cheap") Casillero.
About a month ago,I was taking the stem out to clean.
It broke. The stem is a saddle bit so I had been
careful to grip it above where it tapers.the break
came in the thickest part of the stem.Found out the
tenon is glued into the stem, not molded with it.
Little dab of glue and a couple days to cure and
it's in fine working order.
Had Carter Hall in a cob to and from school.
Now I'm on the balcony with a bowl of McClelland Red and Black in a London made Ben Wade apple and a glass of 12 year Glenfiddich. I don't think I'll ever tire of this stuff.
Had an early morning bowl of G&H Dark Bird's Eye in a Dr. Grabow Grand Duke. Drank some Maxwell House coffee. Going to work early at 6:00 this morning so I can leave early and take my puppy to the vet for some booster shots.

After some morning duties, happy to sit down with a cup of coffee, and light my pipe, filled with F&T Special Brown Flake.
Velvet in a Rhodesian
Got my Knotty lovat from an eBay purchase for $16. Reamed it and cleaned up the stem and smoking some velvet out of it
