My tin of Dunhill DLNR was down to crumbs -- about half a fill. So I dug out enough Hamborger Veermaster for a complete fill. Quite a good blend. Wish that I'd done this while there was more DLNR in the tin.
I've recently discovered a new-to-me mushroom: the maitake, AKA hen of the woods. It's the most delicious mushroom that I've ever had, with the possible exception of morels. It's been so long since I've had fresh morels that I can't judge accurately. I'm going to sauté some maitakes for my supper this evening. Can hardly wait!
Just filled my pipe with Wessex Classic Virginia. There's nothing about this ready rubbed red Virginia vaper that I don't like. Rich flavor, packs easily, stays lit.
