G&H Black Twist Sliced with a couple splinters of H&H Anniversary Flake sneaked right down the center of the bowl. Don't ask me how I did it, suffice it to say it wasn't easy. Black twist sounded good but I wanted to tone down the strength a bit as well as mitigate the oily flavor. Didn't really think it'd make much of a taste difference but the Anni Flake has given the bowl a nice sweetness and a faint, fruity flavor. It's pretty good. It's got pepper in spades too, but not as much as D&R Picayune; that stuff has pepper in spades, clubs, hearts and diamonds.
Oh, and this mix sure makes my coffee taste good :pipe:

Have you tried any of the newer Captain Black offerings, like Dark and Copper? Interested to hear what you think of them, if you've tried them. Also did you ever try the Captain Black Round? They must have discontinued it; can't find it anywhere.Quote:
