Went out for a while yesterday to engage in a little fisch huntery. Fisches weren't biting much but you've got to keep those mosquitoes at bay so I had a cobfull of Orlik, DFK followed by a couple half-cobfulls of G&H, Bob's Square Cut. Pissed me off because I meant to grab the jar of Rum Flake but I apparently wasn't paying attention.
Puffing Solani 779, English Luxury Mixture. I'm getting dangerously close to declaring this stuff to be the best tobacco that I've ever smoked.

Now about halfway through a bowl of GL Pease Quiet Nights. My favorite GL Pease blend I think.
Talk about a bummer,,, I overslept this morning and had to rush out
before I got a cup of coffee let alone a pipe. So Today has been a bit
rough.Since returning home I got a quick bowl of CB original and a
pot of Folgers, things are improving.
Some two year old G&H Rum Flake in a Savinelli Roma 626.
Lots of baby powder taste this round.

That's why I stored my stash of Rum Flake for a year or two in a mason jar with the lid disk upside down. Works wonders to get rid of that awful perfume. I do that with a lot of G&H blends.
Had a big bowl of Bob's Square Cut last night hanging out with a friend. This bag was so old when I got it that it was yellowed. Not much old people smell left in this one.

Rubbed out a delightful combination of Bob's Square Cut along with a couple coins of Sweet Rum Twist. Loaded it all into a deeply bent (unusual for me) sandblast billiard from @NeverBend a while back. This mix is hitting all the right notes for me right now. Shame that if I mix up the same concoction tomorrow it probably won't... but I will enjoy this and let tomorrow worry about itself.
