Had a bowl of SG, Chocolate Flake and a small refill of G&H Rum Twist while executing some motorboatery on the river yesterday. Beautiful trip I must say and couldn't ask for nicer weather.

Rabbit trail alert: For some reason, most often times I think I would like a nice cigar, I go looking thru my humidors to find something the right size, wrapper, strength and age to smoke... and I end up smoking a pipe.

MOAR rabbit trail: During my travels, I happened upon a decent gent smoking a nice, bent Peterson. Figured he must be of quality stock (after all, most pipers usually are ...except for the hipsters) and yes, he turned out to be as I expected and so we chatted about pipes and tobaccos for a bit. I don't care for Petersons for the most part; I don't like the 'system' because it's a PIA to clean and I've never seen one that would pass a pipe cleaner - which is a royal pain if you get a plugged draught hole. I also hate that P-lip thingy... None-the-less, they are quality pipes and there are a few straight, non-system, fishtail, Peterson pipes out there with military or spigot mounts and I might just HAVE to have one of those someday...

And now, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

This morning I had a mixture of G&H tobaccos, Dark Plug and Curly Cut in a small "The 3/4 oz." pipe.

Puffing Solani 763, White & Black. Maximally mellow, it is! Jim Inks would like this stuff with Mellow Yellow as his drink.

So I had a good nights sleep, and when I woke up this
morning I was feeling pretty good.I jumped up and
reached for my Dunhill Canted Dublin and the tin of
FM Cellar.Got two steps towards my desk and my back
spasmed and I found myself on the floor holding my
kneecaps.Well an hour with a hot pad,a couple of tylenols,
and some serious praying for death to come quickly. I did
however recover. So in celebration, I slowly got up.Carefully
sauntered over to my desk.Thanked my wife for saving my pipe
and tin from under the bed and placing them on my desk.I then
proceeded to smoke two bowls of FMC,and with some assistance,
I've been smoking from my mystery blend the rest of the day.
Tomorrow I plan on trying it slow first, that carpet isn't much
    padding to land on.

Take it easy there. A little pipe therapy for relaxation is just what you need.
