I have some of all three cellared, but still haven't smoked the Luxury Twist Flake. I liked the Bullseye Flake and I really like this Navy Flake.

The aromatic gave the monochromatic twist a little depth. Smoked it in a Comoy's Guildhall billiard.
    Oh, I gotcha.
    I'm talking about McClelland's blend.

Managed to sneak in another half a bowl of Nightcap in a cob a couple days ago but it's been too hot and muggy to enjoy much smokery lately. I'm not one to stink up my house with stale tobacco smoke and smoking while sweating doesn't strike me as particularly enjoyable so I'll take most of July and August off.

I found the LNF a bit bitey and sharp fresh but very nice after a year or so. I've cellared a bunch of it. Only one I haven't tried is LTF. I read several reviews and the consensus seemed to be it was quite mild tasting; more so than the other two. Mild ain't my thing so I never ordered any.

Good stuff. One of the few aromatics I enjoy... though I haven't enjoyed said blend in a long time

Went over to a friend's house last night to smoke pipes, drink beer and play games. He is relatively new to pipe smoking but is a fast learner. Smoked a bowl of Tilbury in an Albert John billiard and then had a bowl of 2016 Christmas Cheer in a Savinelli Silver billiard. I was really impressed by the Esoterica Tilbury that he had. The Christmas Cheer is excellent as well. We were drinking a 12-pack sampler of Hoppy beers brewed by Terrapin.

Dang-it John, you really "threw me" with this "Red and Black" tobacco; I had never heard of it. I had only really explored tin tobaccos last year. It seems that McClelland has come up with a very good idea resulting in a tasty tobacco. I was glad that Paul (Cool Breeze) also liked this blend. I have put "Red and Black" at the top of my list when I order more cigars and tobacco in the fall. Thanks for the post.

You're welcome Moe! Sorry I didn't identify it better. It is a very popular blend and I recommend buying some if you can find it.

Smoking an early morning bowl of a layered tobaccos - the bottom of the bowl is lined with Molto Dolce and the rest of the bowl is filled with G&H Black Irish X. Smoking it in a Dunhill Shell billiard.
