smoked some sutliff Country Doctor match in a wessex basket pipe I replaced the stem on. I used a stem essentially the same as what comes on the MM freehand cobs. I find it a bit wide and not particularly comfortable. Not much improvement over the stem it came with unfortunately. I'll keep my eyes out for another blank at some point I guess.

That's what I've been doing lately, reducing my pipe collection by selling them on Ebay. Starting off the day with a bowl of G&H Black Bogie in a Yello-Bole pipe.Quote:
