Today is gonna be a Captain Black day, starting with CB Gold in my Bruce Peters apple.

Last night I had 3 bowls of Middleton's Cherry in various pipes, mostly Dr. Grabows. This was some aged tobacco and it was pretty good, the cherry was very subtle. Later on, I mixed it with some of my burley flake to give it more punch.
This morning I smoked that last two bowls of my Langue de Chien Semois that came as a gift with a pipe that I bought on Ebay. This is one with Latakia in it. It wasn't bad but it burned up too fast and was gone quickly.

Not really what most folks think of when smoking in the morning, but I'm having some Peterson Irish Flake in a rusticated Savinelli Bing's Favorite.
Check out my Youtube channel, Razorback Piper Guy if you like that sort of thing.

Puffing my weekly fill of long-aged FVF -- so good. I chopped some up and spread it on a plate to dry while I smoked a fill of 2 yo DF. The FVF weighed 2.4g when I chopped it up -- 2.0g after drying. Yeah, FVF is a bit moist.

It seems that many folks like a mild tobacco to start the day. But I've always liked a robust first-fill for a nicotine kick start. And a mild tobacco to end the day.

Almost reminds me of Frog Morton Cellar.

Had a bowl of Margate in the gourd. Tasted good but I wanted something with more pepper for some reason so I refilled said gourd with a charge of Picayune. Pepper in spades it had... nicotine too. I'm ready for bed.

Bout to finish up a bowl of McClelland Blackwoods Flake in my London made Ben Wade apple.
I think I may cap the evening off with an English blend. We'll see.
