Probably not going to have time for any smokery in the near future so making due with a small chaw of G&H Sweet Rum Twist

For all you occasional chewers out there, IMO SRT and Black Cherry Twist are the best G&H ropes for chewing. Very tasty.

Puffing Dunhill Navy Rolls in my least expensive, and best smoking, pipe -- my ancient Kirsten Mariner.

Planning a light supper. Tomato soup and sandwiches of Hebrew National salami & Irish cheddar (it is St. Patrick's day), on toasted German pumpernickel. A multinational sandwich!

Man, I can't get enough of it. I never thought I'd have a straight Virginia overtake SG Full Virginia Flake, but I think this has.

Got some more on the way.

Smoked lots of C&D Carolina Red Flake lately; it is truly excellent tobacco. One guy in the pipe club said it reminded him of the McCranie Red Ribbon from the 1983 batch. I got it in a trade with a fellow BOTL in California. He laid it out to dry for 3 weeks and it never molded. Once you get a bowl going you don't want it to end.

    Had a nice cigar earlier.

Now I'm enjoying a bowl of Penzance in my Savinelli Champagne bulldog.

Their pigtail and black rope make decent chews as well, ideal for those occasions where it's not okay to smoke, but spitting is still within the bounds of decorum

I got one tin. I immediately opened and jarred it. So far, no mold. Hopefully, it stays that way. I'd love to give it some age.

After a week off to rest my mouth from my binge, I eased back in with a bowl of Bob's Chocolate Flake.
