Puffing my once-a-week fill of FVF. It was cellared in March '07, so almost exactly ten years of age on it. Very savory! Then off to Kaiserhof, my favorite San Diego restaurant, where I'll likely have the jäger schnitzel. And hoping for split pea soup. It's the best that I've ever had -- better than Andersen's in Buellton, CA. Then off to the pistol range, where I'll shoot my Beretta 87 Target (.22 LR). Sunday is a good day for me!
Got to try a bowl of GLP Renaissance Reserve. It was pretty nice.
Those of you that nabbed some should not be disappointed.
Also tried a bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Omak Stampede. Also pretty good, but a much lighter English, with a bit more sweetness.
