I don't usually go for aromatics either but SVHD is definitely on my 'yes' list. I have a couple mason jars of it squirreled away. It's not I have something against the aromatic genre, it's just that I find I don't like about 90% of them. However, when one is good, it's really good. DE 7th Ave Blonde is another good one and that one even has black cav, which I usually despise.Quote:

Puffing a fill of Dunhill De Luxe Navy Rolls in my venerable Kirsten Mariner. DLNR and Escudo are both curly cut, and both are made by STG in the same plant. Many folks think that they're identical, but I don't. I find the tin note to be different, and the taste, too. I'm not good at describing tobacco tastes, but DLNR seems more savory to me. Also, I think that Escudo has a greater percentage of Perique. I like both tobaccos, but I like DLNR a bit better.
So far today I've had two bowls of Captain Black original.
Trying to decide what I'm in the mood for this afternoon.
Leaning towards oriental blend or maybe Dunhill flake,
could turn into a good night for Golden Glow. I'll get back
with you on that.(will probably turn out all three)
