I just opened a 2+ yo tin of Fribourg & Treyer Vintage – a delightful operation. The aroma is scrumptious – this stuff smells good enough to eat. As close to an aromatic as you'll find in a straight Virginia. The color is medium brown, but variegated with flecks of lighter and darker leaf. Very pretty.
There are two stacks of neatly-cut rectangular flakes with no overlap or buckling. Moisture is just right too. And, unlike DF or Escudo, the flakes always separate easily.
And finally, the flavor of the smoke is wonderful – robust, savory, and a bit spicy. Wonderful tobacco, it is.

Yesterday was a bit hectic and I never had time for a bowl. So today I'm enjoying a bowl of Balkan Sasieni in a MM Legend and celebrating the birth of my first great grandchild, Naomi. She was 24 days early and is a bit small at 4 lbs. 12 oz. and 17 inches, but she's healthy, active, and has a good appetite. Attachment 6456
Another bowl of 3/4 McClelland 5110 and 1/4 PS latakia, in a Savinelli Trevi 320, while on a lunt with my wife.
I'm breaking rules with another load of CB original in the same Wiley rodesian
