I feel your pain...yesterday was my first bowl in over a month.

Where I live, smoking is directly related to what's going on outside. A long time ago I came to terms with the fact that 3 months out of the year I'll probably be putting my pipes away living here.

H&H Larry's Blend, for the first time. I was a little surprised. Based on the description, I thought it would be heavier on the Latakia. But it was much more oriental-forward than I thought.

We went through the same here in Oklahoma in the last year or so. It was either no rain or a deluge that caused flooding from hell. Just some nice easy ground soaking rains over a few days would be nice. Having a bowl of SPC Mississippi River in a Kaywoodie (again) and it's off to the lake to sink brush off the dock for crappie fishing......
Like my father before me, I will work the land,
And like my brother before me, I took a rebel stand.
