Sutliff Trafalgar in a Grabow pot
Peterson Irish Flake in a straight silver (nickle) banded Dr. Grabow.
Popped a tin of Full Virginia Flake, been a while since I've had this and I almost forgot how good this is. After drying a flake for about an hour I did a fold and stuff in a no name French billiard. Johnnie Walker Black with a splash on the side and I'm in heaven. This will be in my dreams tonight.
Smoked a little straight Peter Stokkebye 311 perique then some straight Peter Stokkebye black latakia.
Ice storms have calmed down....but now it's rain and I'm sitting on anywhere from 3'-6' of snow in my swells....flood city here we come.
On the bright side, first day in 40 that we are above freezing and of those 40, 29 of them have been below 0! Got a lot of digging to do today, I'm guessing Carter Hall and PA will be my cheap smokes of choice while out and about working. Can't get too mad if I drop a cob of that stuff in the wet.

Enjoying a bowl of SPC Mississippi River in a Kaywoodie while watching the festivities in Washington D.C. I'm hoping the next time my back is wet, it isn't someone pissing down it and telling me it's raining. Good luck to our soon to be new president.....

Drew Estate Meat Pie in a MM Country Gentleman
Here in northern California we've been in a drought for 5 years. Trees have died from lack of rain, lawns turned brown because there was no water, rivers dried up, lakes became mud holes. But, you could go out and have a smoke nearly anytime you wanted without of fear of a rain out. No more. Biblical rains have been lashing Nor Cal for almost a month now and I'm sick of it. This afternoon, for the first time in a while, the sun shone, and I decided to go out on the deck and enjoy a leisurely bowl of Elizabethan Mixture in a MM General cob. Within ten minutes the sky turned dark and the heavens opened, chasing me back inside. Now certainly I realize that I'm being selfish and we really need all this rain, but for chrissake, can't we just get an hour or so between deluges? Rant over .....
