Puffing a second fill from a just-opened tin of Solani 656, Aged Burley Flake. This stuff has such a rich, tasty flavor that I wonder if it contributes to my daily calorie intake. Definitely a chocolate component in that flavor.
Finally got on the other side of the cold I've been suffering and am back in the smoking car with a meerful of a mix of Lane 1Q and Latakia.

If it's the harshness you don't like, I don't think you'd be enjoying the likes of Haunted bookshop, OJK, pegasus etc. I love em, but they are rough and aggressive, with lots of nicotine-- probably no 5 brothers level, but not too far behind. Aging them helps a little, but doesn't change them fundamentally. Not for everybody, for sure. Could be good to convert a strong cigar smoker I bet.

This evening I am having a bowl of Dunhill Elizabethan Mixture in my extra large Savinelli 606.:pipe: I am starting out early for me for my evening pipe and I spotted my Elizabethan Mixture which I had newly acquired.:wave: I have only smoked this blend a few times but really enjoyed it. I have to say that this evenings smoke is delicious and I am topping it off with an ice cold mug of "Becks" brew; how nicely relaxing it is.:beerchug:
