This is the Macarthur: MacArthur Classic Corn Cob Pipe
This is the General: General Corn Cob Pipe | General Pipe | General Smoking Pipe
I've yet to try a MacArthur, maybe someday.
I have one of those beasts. I bought it from someone on here, replete with authentic Forever Stem. I took it turkey hunting and puffed on one bowl of Red Raparree, off and on the entire day.
Rinse and repeat...Captain Black original in my Friar.
Having my favorite tobacco, SG St James Flake in an unfinished Series III Savinelli.
Now about to light up another SG blend, Navy Flake. Same pipe.
Yeah I know, back to back bowls in a briar aren't good. Don't judge me. ;)
I'll let her rest for a few days before the next go around.
Frog Morton's Cellar in a Redonian army-mount billiard
Had a briarful of John Bull while casting bullets with a hunting buddy earlier this p.m.
Laid off the cigars for a while until recently, and the pipe for even longer, until now...picked out my small no-name discount basket mini church-warden that I had bought a year ago in a business trip to Philly but never smoked. Stuffed it full of the last of Esoterica Tillbury that I got from a Newbie Piper thing at the old Puff site from Tim (can't remember his screen name, but he was awesome). Wonderful afternoon smoke on the back deck, beautiful fall weather. I think I got me a little bit of tongue bite....but it was worth it!
This evening I am having a bowl of Dunhill's My Mixture BB1938 in my extra large Savinelli 606.:pipe: I picked up this tobacco last month and after smoking 5 bowls of it I have decided that I really like this tobacco. I definitely wish that Dunhill would offer this in bulk. BB1938 is delicious this evening and I am topping it off with an ice cold mug of "Guinness Draught" brew; the evening is young.:beerchug:
