Thought I would brave the cold tonight and slip out for a quick bowl. It's a wonderfully silent fall night. It's proving to be just what I need to reflect a little and get some relaxation...even though I'm a bit frozen lol.

A good day for me -- alternating fills of Solani 633, my favorite VaPer, and F&T Cut Virginia Plug, my favorite topped Virginia.

Then off to the Pacifica restaurant in Del Mar CA, about 15 minutes north of my home, for lunch. I always order their Mustard Catfish. Lightly breaded, served over a bed of succotash, and dribbled with a tasty sauce. And a glass of Hess Chardonnay. Delish bread too. The Pacifica has an outdoor dining terrace with a glorious view of the Pacific, but Del Mar is run by liberals, and the whole village is a no-smoking zone.

Just loaded up a bowl of 4 year old Bob's Chocolate flake. I've had a pound resting in a quart mason jar with the lid on loose and the disk upside down for the last 4 years. Why? Because now, not only is it no longer soaking wet, but more importantly the floral stink has diminished to the point that there's only a trace of it left. A bowl's worth still required a half hour of dry time, believe it or not.

It's not just Del Mar, this whole state is a no smoking zone, even in the extreme right wing secessionist northern areas of California.
