Samuel Gawith Skiff Mixture in a little meer. After smoking it daily for three weeks I rested it for a week. Pulled it out tonight and the shank is picking up a nice golden hue.

A couple minutes away from smoking Paul Olsen My Own Blend Three Nuns in a 1978 smooth full bend Lorenzo Adria Standard 733 flame grain egg with a black vulcanite stem. It's more like Henrichs Curly Special than Three Nuns, but it's a pretty decent all day smoke.
Blended a cob mixture using Five Brothers Straight Burley Pinkerton shag and No. 5100 Red Cake. Sweet and nutty and nary a bite. Tastes good in the briar, too.

My comments from a few days ago regarding this mixture are amplified. Wonderful tobacco, expertly blended and manufactured and it smokes very slowly.
It's been years since I filled a bowl as poorly as I did this one today, so I used the pick and took out all of the tobacco and re-filled it. The advice isn't that this can, and does happen to all of us, rather that trying to smoke through a bad pack ends badly.
