Just finished smoking First Responders in a medium bend raw sienna toned early Radice sandblast egg with bamboo craving on the shank. One more smoke before sleep, and that will be Jim’s A Blend in a three quarter bend smooth 1985 Dunhill Chestnut 5202 with a cumberland stem.

I've popped an old can of Erinmore Flake that predates the new square cans.

I like the little flakes much better than the ones in the new square can. And they burn exceptionally well in the Sasieni "Canadian" Canadian, forming a musketball of precisely the right weight and caliber for the chamber.
This morning it was more Scotch Flake Scented, this time in a small, straight Brigham Dublin with some black coffee for the morning commute. Happy Friday! Let's get this week over with.
Half way through this bowl of Edgeworth Slices in an old medium bend grain etched Preben Holm Ben Wade Prominence B freehand. Someone surprised me by sending me about three bowls worth!
Listing this a few minutes early: Rich Dark Flake in a 1998 smooth medium bend Peterson Limerick 69 with a nickel band. Running low on this stash now. Properly brewed coffee is my drink.
VIP Match in a 2013 medium bend Spillproof corndog cob.
Scotch Flake Scented (aka, Aromatic)! Nice smoke, that! I've just opened another can of The "Royal Yacht" Mixture and have a fresh musketball burning in the less-than-regal Legend Forever. Looks as if we'll finish February without a single day above freezing. Damn Typhoon Nuri!!
Listing this a couple minutes or so early: Paul Olsen St. Croix in a 2002 IMP smooth full bend egg shaped meer. This will finish the baggie.
What's the flavoring? I've smoked regular Scotch Flake and thought it already had some kind of topping. Seemed slightly chocolaty like tonquin bean or something.
Reaching for more GLP Meridian in a Big Ben dublin. Drinking my coffee the Irish way on this Friday morning, engines needed a little boost to make it into the weekend.
It is kind of a cocoa vanilla flavoring. I'm not sure if there is a difference or not. SmokingPipes only has Scotch Flake, Pipes and Cigars only has Scotch Flake Scented, and on TobaccoReviews there are only 2 reviews for Scotch Flake Aromatic. One is Freestoke's and the other is saying it is the same as regular Scotch Flake. I've never ordered regular Scotch Flake, so I don't know if it's different or not. I do know it is tasty, though.
It is not the same as Scotch Flake, which is more a straight, medium Va. I guess it's the Scotch Flake with cocoa-vanilla topping that makes it smell like a chocolate candy bar. It's really the most chocolate smelling tobacco I've encountered. Very fine tobacco! It's not really a "vanilla" aromatic, either, not enough vanilla to give it much of a room note.
An after-lunch helping of Marlin Flake. Just found the can in the bottom of the tobacco basket! Amazingly fresh, since it's still in the original plastic lidded container.
Kentucky Club Continental in a 2003 IMP horn Meer. Have enough left for one more smoke.
Leonard "Spock" Nimoy died this morning. RIP.
Listing this a few minutes early so I can concentrate on work: Paul Olsen My Own Blend 111 in a mid-late 1930s straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair.
Part way through this bowl of HU Zulu in a black pebble finish straight 2003 Cavicchi C. Fatto A Mano lovat. This finishes the sample.

On my 3rd bowl of some homemade VA/Oriental flake in a MM Diplomat.
H&H Chestnut in a Grayson's squat bulldog (so glad I took a chance on the 14oz tub -- good stuff!)
This evening I am starting out with a bowl of HH Acadian Perique in my extra large Rossi Pickaxe freehand.:pipe: I've only had this tobacco blend for about a month, but I seem to smoke it frequently. This tobacco seems to create and leave a spicy wispiness around my nose and tongue that keeps me wanting more; yet I know that if I immediately had another bowl of this tobacco it would not be as good so I go on to another tobacco blend.:cheerful: I am topping off this smoke with an ice cold mug of "Guinness Draught" brew and this evening is starting out just fine!:joyous:
Not far away from finishing this bowl of Arcadian Perique in my trusty 1970s smooth three quarter bend Peterson System Standard 305.
Daughters & Ryan Rimboche A.B. in a Marxman straight bulldog.
Puffing on a bowl full of Sutliff CD Blend that has been jarred since 2010, the age has certainly made this cheap, wet tobacco become pretty good.
